Tourists have been coming to the Middle East from all over the world to see the ancient lands for a long time. Unfortunately, in the last 60 years or so, there have been a lot of problems in the Middle East and tourism has slowed down dramatically. People are sometimes afraid to come here because they don't know what to expect, but tourists are slowly starting to come here again. I can tell you from first-hand experience that Jordan is a wonderful country full of kind and generous people that would love to show you their country and the amazing historical sites all over the land.
