My time in Jordan is coming to an end, only two more weeks before I head back to California for Christmas! I have met so many wonderful people here in Jordan, and I feel double-blessed to have been able to meet you guys too. What have you guys learned about traveling far away that maybe you didn't know before? Does it seem easier than you thought? I hope so because we are lucky as Americans to have access to most of the world. Not everyone is able to travel due to lack of job opportunities, war or trouble in their own countries, oppressive governments and other sad realities. I hope one day that everyone has the same opportunities and freedom of movement that we have.

I have been very lucky to see all the places that I have visited, meet the people that have become friends and go on many exciting adventures. Promise me you guys will have some adventures of your own over the winter holiday break and be ready to share them with each other when you get back to school. Because when you tell stories about your own adventures, you get to relive them and share the experience with someone else. It's lots of fun!

Masalama yeshebab! meaning "Goodbye young people" in Arabic.
