Wild Brazilian Capybaras

Capybaras are classified as "least concern" under its conservation status, which is the lowest classification for a plant or animal. This means that the species is very healthy and its population numbers are steady. 

The largest predator for cabybaras are larger carnivorous animals such as jaguars or crocodiles. Humans also hunt capybaras for their meat and hide.
