Interview with Bruno

Introduction:

Bruno is the grandson of the owner of the house where I live. We live right next door to a large supermarket, a samba (a genre of music and dance) school, and a large elementary school where he goes to study.  I asked all the following question to Bruno in Portuguese. Then, I translated his answers into English for you all.

What do you eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner?:

Bruno: For breakfast I eat bread and cheese. For lunch I have rice, beans, and steak. For dinner I have the same meal as I had for breakfast, bread and cheese, sometimes feijoada, a bean stew

What is your house like?:

My house is large, well-ventilated, as the windows are open all the time.  We need to have a lot of space with the windows open to let the wind in because it's very hot outside. The only problem is with the mosquitos because they are always here inside the house.

What chores do you have at home?:

I don't do anything; my mother and grandmother wash dishes, cook, clean the house and my room.

What jobs do your parents have?:

My mother is a tattoo artist. My father lives in Australia and is a computer scientist.
