I have not been disappointed with the selection of products available. The store hours here seem to be very different than in the U.S.A. Stores are normally open until late, so people can get the products they needed anytime they want. I have also noticed many delivery companies that will bring food to your home, as well. People in London have embraced technology to save time and stay comfy at home while delicious food is delivered. Some of the services are so popular that people order food online which is delivered it within an hour or two. Independent markets like Borough Market is always a good place to shop, as well. These markets always have fresh vegetables and fruit. It is also much cheaper to shop here than in a supermarket.
I still feel like I have a lot more exploring to do in London, but I feel like I have become accustomed to my neighborhood; and I’m enjoying my temporary home here. It is exciting to explore differences between my home back in Los Angeles and my neighborhood here, and I hope that I will find new differences to explore again soon.
