The weather this week has been hot! The temperature has stayed between 73 and 93 all week. It reaches the 90s during the day, but the early morning and late afternoon hours bring pockets of cooler temperatures in the 70s..
I see geckos and dogs all the time in Malaysia. The geckos tend to dart in and out of our house through small cracks near the windows or doors. They are not bothersome, and in fact, they make some unique chirping noises! I pass many stray dogs whenever I run here. They look my way but turn and run away whenever I start getting closer.
Tenom is located at the base of mountains. Every afternoon and evening, clouds roll in over the mountaintops and create a beautiful collage of colors! This weekend, while driving back to Tenom in the early evening, we could see the sun setting over the mountaintops as a thunderstorm began rolling in.
