Getting Around Pamplona

Introduction:

Every day, I use many forms of public transportation to get around! I get to work by biking. I go to the city center by walking or taking the bus. I travel to other cities by bus or train. Read on to find out more about transportation in Pamplona and throughout Spain.

How do people get around?:

Pamplona is a very pedestrian city, so most people get around by walking. In the old town, the streets are narrow and jagged, making it difficult for cars to go through the streets. Every now and then, there will be the occasional car that tries to get through! There are also many plazas where people meet and gather that are mainly accessed by walking. So, the streets are usually crowded with people. Since Pamplona is small, there is no Metro, but we do have a bus that I use when I don't feel like walking. Lastly, to get from city to city in Spain, people travel by bus or train.

How did I feel when I tried this way of getting around?:

I love walking around the city and meeting up with friends on the streets. Since Pamplona is not very big, the farthest you would really have to walk is about 30 minutes or so, which is really not bad.
