The only language spoken here is Spanish. In Colombia there are many indigenous peoples and they have their own languages. However, in Boyacá we specifically had the Muisca indigenous people that were very sadly completely eliminated in the Spanish conquest. Their language, Chibcha, is no longer spoken, although many places pay homage to it by using its vocabulary. In my school everyone’s first language is Spanish, except for mine.
