This week I traveled quite a far bit. I went to Bogotá, the country's capital. I went hiking near Choachi. I went to Tunja, my department of Boyacá’s capital, for a dance presentation. I went to Monguí, a beautiful colonial town known for making soccer balls.
Esta semana viajé lejitos. Fui a Bogotá, la capital del país. Fui caminando cerca de Choachí. Fui a Tunja, la capital de mi departamento de Boyacá, para ver una presentación de danzas. Fui a Monguí, un pueblo patrimonio conocido por fábricas de balones y su hermosura.
Throughout this journey I have not traveled out of Colombia but I have traveled far and wide inside. Of the 32 departments I have been to, at least one town or city in 12 of them. I have a lot more of Colombia to see, but I have seen the most popular spots for domestic tourism. However, I often talk with Americans that have been to more popular places in Colombia that I still have never been to, like Medellin, Cartagena and Cali. I hope to visit all parts of Colombia one day but there is just so much to see and I am proud of all I have done.
En este viaje yo no he salido del país pero he viajado muchísimo dentro de él. De los 32 departamentos he conocido por lo menos un pueblo en 12 de ellos.
