A bottle of water here costs between 1,000 pesos and 5,000 pesos depending on the size and store. Usually a bottle is from 300 milliliters to 1 liter. In a chain supermarket, you will get the best price; in town it is always reasonable; but if you go to a touristy area, it will be the most expensive.

I have eaten a ton of great food this week, but my favorite dish had to be salchipapas. Salchipapas are a dish with sausages and potatoes that are cut into french fries. They add a bunch of extra things of your choosing to it. I had mine with diced tomato, onion, and pepper, (pico de gallo) cheese, spicy shredded beef, pineapple sauce, garlic sauce, mayonnaise, ketchup and lettuce. Salchipapas are by far my favorite fast food in Colombia and I love to get them to share with friends especially.
Yo he comido un montón de comida rica esta semana pero mi favorita sin duda fue las salchipapas. Las salchipapas son papas francesas y salchichas. Le echan todos los ingredientes imaginables. Por ejemplo, las mías tenían verduras picadas como el tomate, la cebolla, la pimienta, lechuga, queso, carne desmechada picante, la salsa de piña, la salsa de ajó, la mayonesa, y la salsa de tomate. Las salchipapas son mi comida rápida favorita en todo el país y me encanta pedirlas para compartir con amigos.
