The weather is usually hot halfway through the day, with some haze in the evenings. I have worn a lot of sunscreen while being here!
This week I saw cows, monkeys, pelicans, small fish, goats, cats, rats and dogs. Cows are respected here, and many people do not eat beef!
I visited a bird sanctuary this week and learned about pelicans and painted storks. We also saw some baby birds that had been rescued by scientists!
We ate at a restaurant near a forest. After we finished eating, some monkeys snuck into the patio area and took food off our plates! This was a reminder to be careful around wild animals here.
