This week I have read a few chapters of a book called Iron Gold. It is the fourth book of the "Red Rising" series by Pierce Brown. It is a dystopian series that takes place in the future and all the planets of our solar system. The first book, titled Red Rising, is one of my favorite books of all time.
A mi me encanta leer. Esta semana leí unos capítulos del libro, Iron Gold. Es el cuarto de la saga "Red Rising" de Pierce Brown. Es una saga distópica qué tiene lugar en el futuro habitando todos lados de nuestro sistema solar. El primer de la saga se llama Red Rising, y es uno de mis libros favoritos de todos los tiempos.
In general, I am not too sporty. I do calisthenics at home, do a ton of biking, and hiking. Everyday I do pushups and squats just to stay in good shape. I hike and bike around because I love nature and it is a great way to get to see different places.
However, I do love games. Not a day goes by where I don’t play chess. Every Thursday I play chess with a group of friends. Also, this week I played a game called Rummikub which doesn’t come from Colombia but is super popular here in the Andean region. I also played a card game called "Cambio" which is a highly competitive fun card game that tests your memory and allows sabotage. I learned it here in Colombia and always play it when I have at least three other friends to play with. In my English club, we played "Spot It" and "Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza" to engage students and help practice English vocabulary.
En general no soy muy deportivo. Yo hago calistenia en la casa, monto mucho en la cicla, y hago senderismo.
