This week in Bonn, I spent time walking around the city and enjoying everyday life. A few friends visited from a nearby city, making the week much more fun. I also took a trip to Liège, Belgium.
This week, I want to talk about a food I tried called makkara. Makkara, or sausage, is a typical dish made over a grill by the lake in the Finnish summer months.
Italy is known for its food, and although pizza, lasagne, macaroni, and dark espresso coffee were all created and perfected in Italy, today our field note is all about gelato!
