I love Evergreen Trees!

Introduction:

I have always thought that green was my favorite color. Green is fresh and awake and alive. I think that my favorite shade of green is forest green because it is calming and reminds me of Evergreen trees. Like their namesake, Evergreen trees stay green forever. When all the other trees in the forest have lost their lives in the fall and winter, these trees stay a vibrant shade of green year long.

What does this creature or plant look like?:

Evergreen trees can take on many different shapes and sizes. I'm not a scientist, but I'd say that in most of the forests I've seen these trees send to be on the shorter size. They are smaller than larger oak or pine trees and stand just above the brush. I'm going to estimate and say that most trees are from 6 to 30 feet tall when growing in a forest. For trees that are grown for Christmas trees, they are small enough to cut down and bring inside your house. So this makes them typically less than 12 feet high and 5 feet wide.

How did I feel when I saw it?:

When I see trees, I'm reminded of my childhood when I used to go and play in the forest. Now I enjoy being outside for hikes with my family and friends. I also love to decorate a Christmas tree in my home. I've not done this yet this year and I'm looking forward to doing it very soon!
