Officially, I was an exchange student with Nanyang Technological University, which is one of the top universities in all of Singapore. I returned to Minnesota after my study-abroad.
Even though the primary reason for studying abroad is to receive an education in another country, there are, in fact, many reasons for traveling abroad. For me, being somewhere new was an amazing experience because I had the chance to be surrounded by a new culture, new cuisines, new people, and new sights!
