What was the best meal this week?:

I really love Spanish tortilla! It reminds me of an omelet mixed with big chunks of potato. My host mom serves it in slices with tomato sauce, but you can also get it as a sandwich, or bocadillo de tortilla!

What music did I listen to this week?:

There was the National Day of Spain on October 12th, and you could hear a lot of festivities in the streets! I went to the area called Sol and walked around with my friends. I heard fast-paced salsa music, classical music with violins and cellos, and music that sounded like a Spanish waltz or something you would hear in the ballrooms. This made me realize how diverse Spanish culture is and how there’s a type of music for everyone!
