The weather in Madrid was very sunny and warm! Today’s high is 75°F, and the low is 53°F. One thing I had to get used to here is that they use Celsius to measure the weather instead of Fahrenheit. I remember when I first opened my phone one time to check the weather, I saw that it would be a high of 24°C and a low of 12°C. I was shocked at first, but I remembered it was just in Celsius! In the early mornings, it can get a little chilly, but it slowly warms up as the day progresses. It has been staying around a constant 70°F with lots of sun. You can see a lot of people here wearing sweaters, pants and even light puffer jackets or trench coats.
Since I'm in the city, there are so many cute pigeons around! I see those the most in the streets. They aren’t afraid of people and will walk really close to you and even ask for food. The second most common animal in the city is dogs! Today, I’ve probably seen six dogs within two hours. I remember seeing some komondors, poodles, shih tzus and weiner dogs!
