One person asked if I could take a picture of her and her dog before running a race, and when I gave back the phone, her dog jumped on me and licked me! You can also sometimes see magpie birds, squirrels or some bees. A bee just flew right by me as we speak!
Since I’m in Madrid, Spain’s capital, I don’t see a lot of nature. However, one time, I went to Retiro Park, and I saw a little girl feeding a pigeon. Next thing I knew, there was a whole flock of them wanting to get a crumb of bread too! It was like they spawned out of nowhere!
Some nature news I learned the other day is that there are heavy rains and flooding happening right now, as Storm Alice is wreaking havoc on Spain’s Mediterranean coast. Some of the places affected are Catalonia, Valencia and Ibiza.
