Board games and card games are really popular in Germany. Some of my friends taught me to play a game called Set, which is actually an American game that has become popular in my town, here. You have to find matching cards as fast as you can, before all of the other players see them!
Many of my students are learning British English, so I've learned a lot of British phrases that I didn't know before. For example, instead of saying "eraser," British people say "rubber!" I'm not just learning German, but some other types of English too!
