The Daily Life of a Londoner in my study abroad neighborhood

Introduction:

I met Amalia when I started my study abroad program. She works for the organization where I am studying. Amalia is a very friendly and helpful person. She is open-minded and loves to make new friends. We were chatting and talking about traveling, because that is my favorite hobby and hers as well. Since I got here, we became friends and have decided to travel together one day when we both have time. It would be a fun and exciting adventure for both of us.

What is your full name?:

My name is Amalia Chappell.

Where do you live? What is your house like?:

I also live in south Kensington, but in the Metrogate House. The building is similar to the flats for the students, but does not have as many flats inside. I have a living room, two bedrooms, a kitchen and a toilet. It is a very typical flat for this neighborhood in London. I share the flat with a roommate.

What is your family like?:

My family is very friendly, and my parents are nice people. My father is British and my mother is Filipino. They met in the United States and that’s also where I grew up. My parents still live there in Los Angeles, California. I came to the United Kingdom after university and did a master’s program here and have decided to make London my home.
