The campus is beautiful and full of nature; there is even a small lake that has cicadas buzzing and butterflies flying around! Next to the lake, there are trees where you can set up hammocks to read or hang out with friends in between classes. I will definitely be spending a lot of time here!
This week, Amargosa had an event called the 'Antique Car Show'. They gathered old cars from all around the region and set them up in the local plaza. I went with some of my friends, and we walked around looking for the oldest car we could find, which was from 1974! There was even a band playing in the plaza, so I got to hear some local music and dance with my friends.
