It's like the saying "Measure twice, cut once." When riding buses in Budpaest, I recommend "Check the bus location twice, only get on one." Mostly I walk. I like to get my steps in and it is easier to see the city and the amazing architecture. To get to other areas in Hungary, I have to take the train. There are trains all over Europe and you can get to most places in Hungary in a few hours. Obviously I've been using planes a lot more recently.
As sappy as it is, there sometimes is no place like home. While I love Hungary and everything I've done, visiting home and seeing my family was so special, especially my cat Hermione who I have missed cuddling with.
I have a few upcoming trips both in Hungary and in the neighboring countries. I am headed back to Pécs in two weeks and Veszprém at the end of the month. Then I am going to Romania with some friends in April. I am hoping to visit Slovkia and Slovenia at some point as well.
