At the beginning of the week, the weather was dark and gloomy with some rain. It didn't rain hard, but it was sprinkling a lot, so I needed to bring my umbrella with me wherever I went. By the end of the week, the rain had passed, and we experienced calm, sunny days.
This week, I saw lots of pigeons! Since I live in a city, I don't see much wildlife besides birds. However, I also saw ducks because I visited Lago de la Ribera (Ribera Lake) to feed them some bread! I looked in the pond to see if there were any fish or frogs, but I did not see any.
The coolest thing I saw in nature this week was the sycamore trees in Parque Espolón (Espolón Park). In Logroño, sycamore trees are pruned (trimmed) by people. The process is called pollarding, and it is done during the cold months when the trees have no leaves. This is done to keep the trees small and tidy so they fit well along city streets.
