The farthest I traveled this week was 30 minutes by bus to Nájera, the small town where I work. Every morning, I wake up at 6:30 a.m. and leave my apartment to walk to the bus station at 8:00 a.m. At 8:30 a.m., the bus leaves Logroño and goes to Nájera, which is to the west. I arrive at the bus station in Nájera by 9:00 a.m. and get to my school at about 9:05 a.m.
The farthest I have traveled on this journey so far is to Bilbao, a city on the northern coast of Spain. It took about two and a half hours to get there from Logroño by train. I spent the day exploring the city, trying some local food and walking along the river, which was really pretty. I also visited the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, a museum of modern and contemporary art, which was one of my favorite parts of the trip.
The most frequent mode of transportation I use is walking! Since I live in a city, everything is relatively close. Sometimes, I need to walk farther to see certain friends, go to new restaurants I want to try or just explore new parts of the city!
