This week I did a lot of hiking through the ‘Zona Arqueológica’, archeological zone or nature preserve, to see the equinox, and I also got into a very competitive domino competition with my friends from the university.
I am not sure about you all, but at every school I have been to, I always have a favorite spot where I like to go and spend time. It might be a specific corner of the classroom, a certain chair in the cafeteria, or swing on the playground. This week, I found my new favorite spot at my new school. The school is located right next to the bay on the water, and right outside the main office building there is a small dock that goes out about 30 feet into the ocean. In front of the dock and off to the corner, there is a shady tree where I met my gecko friend and marked my new favorite spot to rest.
