An Interview with Maripaz

I think he's amazing. He's an amazing singer, he plays the guitar and the drums, he's really creative making music, and he improvises really well. You know that if you are going to a concert of Bruno Mars, he's going to do the best.

What kinds of music do you listen to?:

Well, I love pop music and latin music. I also love classical music. I love Ed Sheeran, Carlos Vives, and Jason Mraz. I also love music from the 80s - Journey, Bon Jovi - I'm really a fan of the 80s kind of music. And my favorite song is "The Story" by Brandi Carlisle.

What would you like to be when you grow up?:

I would love to work with kids mostly that have specific learning problems to adapt their homework and their tests, to help them study, and to make school and high school easier for them.

If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?:

Well, it's a really silly thing, but since I love Mamma Mia, I would love to be in Greece. And, well I always wanted to go to Italy because Italy was a really important place for the history of music. All musicians went to Italy to learn music, and it was a big thing, so I have always wanted to go to Italy.

What do you know or think about the United States?:

Well, what I know is that it's a big country, one of the leading countries. Also, what I know is that if you want to get a really good education, the United States is the most amazing option. And it's also an important country that has tons of resources. The United States can be more influential with all of these things. I think other countries will also support this.
