Breathing Not So Easy in Delhi, India

Another part of the city, New Delhi is modernizing rapidly. The contrast between these diverse parts of the city makes it a popular place to visit. 

What makes this environment special or different?:

Delhi is a territory with many rich historical sites and cultural sites. It boasts a population of over 19 million. The city is incredibly diverse, filled with people of all kinds of different cultural and religious traditions. There are lots of old markets in Delhi that have winding pathways in which you can get lost!

What parts of this environment help people to live here?:

There are many trees in Delhi, and the city is filled with forested parks. Trees help to provide oxygen and create clean air for humans. Citizens in Delhi also have strong family ties that help make this place a special place to live. Delhi also boasts a metro that is very accessible and affordable to get all around the big city.

What challenges do people face living in this environment?:

Unfortunately, Delhi is the most polluted city in the world.
