Dear Creekside Elementary School Fifth Graders,
Wow, I can't believe it's already time to say goodbye! These past twelve weeks of sharing my journey in South Korea with you have gone by so fast. It has been so much fun exploring this amazing country together. I've loved telling you about Korean food, culture, music, and adventures—and I hope you've learned a lot along the way.
Even though our time together is ending, my adventure isn't quite over yet. I still have one more month left in South Korea, and I have lots of exciting plans before I return home to Kentucky. But before I tell you what's coming up next, I want to share what I've learned during this time.
Living in Another Country: The Hard Parts and the Happy Parts
Living in another country is an amazing experience, but it also comes with challenges. There have been times when I felt confused or unsure of what to do, especially when I got sick and had to figure out how to see a doctor. Everything works a little differently here. I didn't always know how to make an appointment or if the doctor would speak English, and I definitely did not feel confident enough with my Korean.
