Our News

What music did I listen to this week?:

I have recently been listening to a lot of musical soundtracks, including Hamilton, Beetlejuice the Musical, Six, Hazbin Hotel, and Heathers. Some are shows I've worked on and the music makes me feel nostalgic, while others are just fun to sing and dance to.

What activity was the most fun this week?:

I've not been able to do a lot in Budapest lately because of my travels outside of the city, but a few weeks ago I was able to revisit the Opera with my Fulbright friend Jackie and we had a great time even if we didn't have great seats. We saw the tragedy Tosca, which is about love in the time of political revolution.

What did I read this week?:

I just finished reading the recently published "The Enemy of Time" by Haley-Grace McCormick, who is a childhood friend of mine. I am extremely proud of her and was so excited to be able to finally read the book she's been working so hard on.

What games or sports did I play this week?:

I played a game of movie soundtrack trivia at a church event recently and that was so much fun. I used to only listen to movie soundtracks, and so now I can identify not only the movie but often the composer, too.

Other news from this week:

Since I have been traveling so much, I have gotten to do one of my favorite hobbies: watching movies. Between the plane rides and being at home, I have watched several films including Bugonia, That Old Feeling, The Bride!, Frankenstein, Spinal Tap and The Big Lebowski. I love watching movies on planes, because it makes the time go by so quickly. I saw The Bride!
