Goodbye (for now!)

It's hard to realize that this semester with all of you is already coming to a close... but our future travels are far from over!

Charly's Expedition to Australia

Hi! I am Charly Plaisir, a wildlife biologist specialized in eastern grey kangaroos. I travel once a year from Canada to Australia to observe kangaroos in their natural environment. Join me!

¡Gracias, y Hasta Luego!

I can't believe that our time has already come to an end. It has been a pleasure to share my journey with you all, and I hope you learned something from our time together!

Communities in Toledo

Toledo is a small city which makes it a great place for students to travel abroad. The city is not overwhelming at all and it's easier to immerse yourself there rather than say Madrid or Barcelona.

The Great Outdoors!

Although I was in Toledo, Spain during the winter months, I never minded being outside. The atmosphere was so beautiful, despite the colder temperatures.

Telling the Story of MOSAiC

Hi, I'm Lianna Nixon, and I created a film that captured the complex saga of the MOSAiC expedition. I spent more than five months aboard Polarstern in the Central Arctic--here's my story!

A Little Bit About Me

I'm so excited to explore peatlands with you, but first, I'd love to tell you a bit more about me, how I became interested in soil sciences, and how I got to this point in my career.

Recognizing Different Perspectives

Depending on where you live, your experiences and your beliefs, everyone has their own way of viewing and interpreting things.

A Peak Inside My Life

Here is a little more detail about what it is like to be me!

Carlos' Expedition to the Northern Peatlands

Hi, I'm Carlos, and I study the effects of global climate change. Join me on an expedition to the peatlands of Northern Ontario, where we will study small critters that perform a big, important job.
