Can you believe it's been a whole academic term? Just like that, your year at Justice High School is getting close to the end. I don't know about all of you, but this time of year always makes me feel two different ways. I wanted to talk about these feelings as we finish up my time as your Reach the World traveler.

On one hand, I am sad that I will finish up my time in Jordan soon. Sharing my experience with you all has been a lot of fun, and there are so many things we have talked about! We took trips to Karak and the Dead Sea, and we learned together about the unique way taxis work in Jordan! We spent time discovering the different foods, here, and talking about how Jordanians think about knafeh, pizza and mansaf. I heard that Ms. McLain even got to try mansaf--that's so cool! Last, we learned about the challenges that Jordan faces, such as water scarcity and Syrian or Palestinian refugees. There is, of course, so much I did not have the chance to share with you--I hope that the extra pictures here help fill in those gaps!

On the other hand, some of the challenges I have talked about in my journals and logbooks are still true today.
