Toledo is a small city which makes it a great place for students to travel abroad. The city is not overwhelming at all and it's easier to immerse yourself there rather than say Madrid or Barcelona.
Although I was in Toledo, Spain during the winter months, I never minded being outside. The atmosphere was so beautiful, despite the colder temperatures.
