After cycling across Morocco and Spain, I'm heading back to sea aboard Columbia University's research vessel to study the ocean, explore the seafloor, and investigate our planet!
Getting around Florence and traveling through Europe has been a lot different than what I'm used to back home! From walking everywhere to long bus rides, it's been a fun adjustment.
This week I stayed in Kinmen. It happened to be a long weekend for Taiwan's National Day, so there was a lot of events such as a music festival, taro festival and tree climbing!
Italy is known for its wonderful cuisine, and I was able to try a lot of it when I went to Venice! From pasta and pizza to the classic gelato, every dish offered a new connection to Italian culture.
This week marks one month of living in the Azores. I still have so much to see and do here. Everyone has been so kind to me, so it feels like I have been living here longer than that!

There are two free weeks between the time my final exams end, and where my internship becomes a full time job. I decided to do some solo traveling in that time.
