I traveled to the city center to meet up with a friend. The journey was about four miles, and I traveled on the metro. I used my Opal card to pay for the journey.
I have been to Adelaide, which is about 820 miles from where I live in Sydney. This would be like traveling from New York to Chicago.
I rode the metro and another train, and I dod a lot of walking. All of these are much better ways to see more of the city and experience it from a different viewpoint than driving around in a car.
The most interesting place that I visited this week has to be NewTown, which is a neighborhood in Sydney that is very popular with the young, hip and trendy crowd. It has this really cool place to eat which allows people to only pay as much as they are able to for their meal. It is run by a non-profit organization.
