I recently met Benedict "Ben" Aungles through the Citi Local Host program in Sydney, Australia. He has quickly become an important role model for me. Ben works in Citi's Sydney offices, and he was kind enough to welcome me there to talk about global careers, everyday life in Australia, and how to follow your passions.
Though he was born and raised in Australia, Ben has crossed oceans to broaden his outlook and nourish his path. He finds support through his family and friends, all of whom motivate him to do this best. As he told me, "Life is a process. We may not know where we are going, but as long as you keep your eyes on the prize, you will get there."
Having Ben as a Local Host and mentor has helped me remain focused on achieving my goals while I'm studying abroad. I am grateful to him for volunteering his time to make my experience in Australia even more fulfilling. Let's learn a little more about him!
