This small area with plants and walking paths is known to have special almond trees that only bloom for a short time between February and March. The trees are covered in small white and pink flowers that smell very good. There are about 300 almond trees in this garden and it makes for a very beautiful walk!
The Comunidad de Madrid announced that it plans to expand a nearby national park called the Sierra de Guadarrama! Once they complete the expansion in the 2030s, it will be almost 131 square miles. This will make it so that the residents of Madrid have even easier access to a national park.
