The weather was very pleasant. Most days were a bit cloudy, but it was warm outside. We didn't have much rain at all, which was great! Madrid has been extremely rainy since I arrived, which is very rare for the city. It is finally starting to become sunny and warm.
I spotted many Eurasian Magpies. These are a very common bird in Madrid and remind me of Ravens or Crows, but more colorful! They are very curious birds. I also saw a Monk Parakeet. These are little green exotic birds that have become common in Madrid and across Spain. They appear very out of place and are actually an invasive species, meaning they are not supposed to be here and can cause damage to the environment.
