It has cooled down quite a bit this week. Although it was very hot a week or two ago from a heat wave, it looks like as though that weather has passed. It is more cloudy now, and a nice breeze moves through the city these days. It can be overcast at times, but it hasn't rained yet this week.
Although I didn't see any mosquitoes, I did feel them. I seem to encounter them mostly at night around the small park and green areas around my dorm building. When I visited my family's grave last weekend, I saw a lot of dragonflies buzzing around. In Japan, the emergence of red dragonflies signifies the comming of autumn. I also I saw a cicada, which was a cute little guy.
I really liked the mountain view when I visited my family's grave. The river and the forest were beautiful, and it was so quiet. There was even a rainbow.
Autumn is coming to Japan too, bringing cooler weather. The ginko trees will start turning yellow soon.
