My Favorite Treats & Eats In Scotland!

As I drank it with my lunch, I was reminded of how I love the fizziness of soda back home.

I shared Neapolitan pizza with my professor and group. The melted cheese and warm crust made it a fun meal to enjoy together. It was amazing pizza, and I had to eat it with a knife and fork because of how melty and gooey it was! I was so happy to be eating pizza with friends and felt a community forming.

I tried a warm bowl of beef noodle soup. It had noodles, beef, and tasty broth. I got really sick for a while, so it healed me. There are so many different foods from different cultures to try in Edinburgh!

How is the food prepared?:

With my Irn-Bru soda, I also got to try fish and chips. This is a famous meal combination in the United Kingdom! The fish was covered in crispy batter, and the chips were golden and crunchy. They call fries "chips" in the UK! The fish is usually battered and fried, and the potatoes are cut and fried. Fish is connected to Scotland because Scotland has a long coastline and lots of fishing communities. I love to have this with ketchup or tartar sauce, which is good with foods such as fish sticks. Yum!
