Hello, everyone! Welcome to my Scottish Eats and Treats blog! During my time in Scotland, I got to try lots of yummy foods and drinks, explore new cafés and restaurants and share meals with my friends and my professor. Some treats were sweet and creamy, while others were warm, cheesy or crunchy!
As I tried each new food, I thought about how it tasted, how it made me feel and how people make it. I also learned that food can tell us a lot about a place! Scotland is famous for foods like fish and chips, and its cool weather makes a warm cup of hot chocolate with yummy marshmallows especially cozy. I tried some traditional Scottish foods, while others came from different places around the world.
