Hi! My name is Amanda Hosseini, and I'm from Austin, Texas. I'm currently a senior at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, where I study both Psychology and Philosophy. This fall, I will be studying Philosophy abroad at the University of Edinburgh in Edinburgh, Scotland!
I'm excited to explore Edinburgh, experience Scottish culture, travel throughout the U.K., and meet new people from around the world. Here are a few fun facts about me: My favorite color is pink, my favorite season is winter, and I also grew up ballet dancing and playing tennis. Also, I have a dog named Winnie, whom I love with my whole heart, and he is a Yorkie mix!
I'm also incredibly grateful to be studying abroad with support from the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship, and as part of a faculty-led study abroad program through the Guarini Institute at Dartmouth College.
Ready to explore with me? Let's go!
