About Me and My First Three Weeks in Shenyang!

Since arriving in China three weeks ago, I feel that I have learned so much! My days in Shenyang have been very busy. Each morning from 8:00–10:00 a.m. I teach a class called Newspaper Reading to first year college students. Right now, we are reading about climate change. Have you learned about the Earth's climate in science class? Then, I have Chinese class from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. After this, I eat my lunch and have a little break before I teach another English class called Oral English from 2:00–4:00 p.m. Afterwards, I usually go to the gym and then eat dinner. Something I have noticed in China is that many people choose not to cook and eat at restaurants instead. The food at restaurants is much cheaper than in America, and so I have started to eat at more restaurants as well. My favorite foods here are pork dumplings, green beans, noodles and scallion pancakes. My students have told me that they will help me find new yummy foods to try while I am here. What foods would you want to try in China?
