How I Get Around Town

How did I feel when I tried this way of getting around?:

When I first tried the tram, I was very confused! I have never been on a tram before, and I had no idea how to get around in a tram. I remember getting into one because I wanted to get downtown. I asked the driver for directions and then bought two tickets, each for €2.50. I sat down, and after about 15 stops, I was so lost that I had to ask the girl in front of me for directions. I ended up so far from downtown that I decided to return home instead. At least I tried it! I'll have better luck next time.

Is this way of getting around connected to the culture and environment, How?:

Using the trams in Brussels is very common. Belgium's first trams were made in Brussels in 1869 and they used horses instead of electricity. Brussels has been trying to be more eco-friendly, and this year the city held a Mobility Week from September 16-22nd. During Mobility Week, the city focused on different and more environmentally-friendly ways of transportation. Since trams are able to carry more people than regular cars, they are better for the environment and use less fuel than regular cars.
