A lot of the new development of Nice was also built for tourism, specifically English tourists. There is a boardwalk that goes along the entire coast of the city named Promenade des Anglais which means "Walkway of the English".
When we first got to France, we realized it was a lot hotter than we were expecting. We had landed in the middle of a heat wave! We dedicated a week to exploring all the local shops and shopping malls to stay cool and indoors!
When we landed, we all had to go buy our phone plans, so we would have service full time while abroad. The popular phone plan gave us unlimited coverage while in France which sounds like a good deal. Until you forget Monaco and Italy, even if they're only 15 minutes down the street, are different countries, and all your directions won't load because you have no service!
