Nice, located on the southern coast of France, has a warm Mediterranean climate. There are usually clear skies, and it's warm and sunny for most of the year. The worst weather you get is heavy rain, even in December!
There are dogs everywhere!! We also noticed a trend. People in Nice preferred medium to big fluffy dogs. In Monaco, everyone had tiny purse dogs. There were several times where we would be walking behind someone and suddenly a tiny fluffy head would pop out of their bag!
In Antibes, France there was an entire street where all the residents were Greek immigrants. To remind them of home, they planted native Greek flowers and plants all along the street.
In Nice, most streets are lined with giant palm trees but palm trees aren't native to this area at all! Many of the trees around Nice were brought in and planted to match a tropical vacation vibe.
