It's done good work providing some income and refuge for the women of Janakiram Layout. It's helped turn piles of trash into useful and decorative bags. And it's giving the women more socioeconomic power than they had in their community before. While the problems slums like Janakiram Layout experience are not completely solved, they are certainly being tackled with valiant efforts like these.
