What main languages are spoken here?:

The majority of the population speaks the Albanian language (Shqip, pronounced like sheep), but there are multiple dialects. In Kosovo, the Albanian spoken is in the Gheg dialect, which is the less formal of the dialect. A dialect is a particular form of a language.  Think about the slang that you and your friends might use, and how different that is, say, to British English. The second language spoken here is Serbian. A lot of people, especially in the younger generations, speak English, too.

What type of money is used here?:

Kosovo uses the euro.  It is one of only three countries in the Balkans to use the European currency, but it is not a part of the European Union. It hopes to become part of it in the future, but that's a long way off.

Right now, 1 euro is the equivalent of about 1.15 dollars.

How much does a bottle of water cost?:

A bottle of water costs 0.10 euros, which is about 11 cents.
