Motorbike Mania

How did I feel when I tried this way of getting around?:

My first time on a motorbike felt exhilarating. The wind blew through my hair and I felt unstoppable. Sometimes I get anxious being on the back of motorbikes because the roads here are so tattered, though. I've been on a motorbike with three people once before and it was the most stressful experience I've had here. Now, I am used to riding on the back of a motorbike with one other person. By the time my friend took me to the folk concert pictured, I wasn't nervous about riding with her, but there were some times when we were going over speed bumps where I felt a little unsafe. However, I enjoy the motorbikes because they're faster and more agile than cars and are able to take more shortcuts. As long as you wear a helmet and drive safely, they're a great way to get around. I also feel way cooler being on a motorbike than I do in a car!

Is this way of getting around connected to the culture and environment, How?:

Yes, it is. Thailand proposes that motorbikes are eco-friendlier and I believe that's true. Motorbikes are also easier to obtain and take care of than cars here, and they're more efficient at navigating through traffic and small streets down alleys in the cities.
