The sole official language of South Korea is Korean. However, there are many regional dialects of the Korean language. Korean also has a complex honorific system that can be difficult to navigate. Korean honorifics use different verb/sentence endings, vocabulary and particles to show respect based on title, age and familiarity.
The currency of South Korea is the won (KRW). The most common banknotes are 1,000, 5,000, 10,000 and 50,000 won. The bills come in different colors and sizes, along with important Korean historical figures printed on them!

The best meal this week was the last dinner before leaving orientation. I went to eat some Korean barbecue with friends, where we cooked the meat on the grill ourselves!
