Hello, exchange partners and friends! My name is Grace Lim, and I am a recent graduate of Georgetown University. I am a Korean American who grew up in New Jersey but didn't have many opportunities to explore my heritage until I was an adult. I will be serving as an English Teaching Assistant through the Fulbright U.S. Program for the 2025-2026 year in South Korea.
I want students to nurture their innate sense of awe and basic instinct of curiosity by reading about my experiences and asking thoughtful questions. Beyond building knowledge of geography, language, and culture, I hope students become more emotionally fluent in connecting with different places and diverse peoples.
I look forward to opportunities for greater connection and empowerment of students. I hope I can serve as a positive role model and have the opportunity to inspire students to explore the world around them. I can't wait to embark on this journey together!
